Pakistan's second consecutive victory
Pakistan's second consecutive victory
Pakistan has won the ICC T20 World Cup for the second time in a row.
Pakistan defeated New Zealand by five wickets in the Super 12 match of the World Cup in the UAE on Tuesday night.
Earlier, Pakistan had defeated India by 10 wickets in the first match. After winning two games in a row, Pakistan is at the top of Group 2 with 4 points.
Pakistan completed the target of 135 runs set by New Zealand by losing five wickets in 18.4 overs.
Mohammad Rizwan added 33 runs in Pakistan's victory. Similarly, Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali scored 27 runs unbeaten. Ali hit 2 fours and 3 sixes off 12 balls. Malik and Ali shared an unbeaten 48 for the sixth wicket.

Shahin Shah Afridi becomes Pakistan's 'Shahnshah'
Pakistan had not beaten India in the T20 World Cup before Sunday's match. India had a proud history of winning all 12 matches in the World Cup.
But not only did India lose on Sunday, but they have also been defeated unforgettably. India has suffered a humiliating 10-wicket defeat to Pakistan in the Twenty20 International. According to cricket experts, losing the toss in Dubai was not pleasant for India. But Pakistan excelled not only in batting but also in bowling.
Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are the most talked about couple in the history of T20 cricket. But on Sunday, both performed poorly. Shaheen Shah Afridi's lethal bowling was more important than their poor batting.
Pakistan's strongest side is excellent bowling. Afridi's bowling was the basis of Sunday's victory over India. His tall stature and spin were heavy on India's top-order batsmen.
If you look at the statistics, he has taken wickets in the first over 20 times in 61 matches. Cricket fans used to give him the nickname of Shah Shah. He also took the wicket of a reliable T20 batsman on Sunday and the Indian bench came under pressure. In his excellent bowling, Rohit Sharma could not do anything and the ball landed on his back leg in front of the stumps. Rohit had the option of review, but he did not consider it necessary to choose that path.
Then came KL Rahul's turn. Rahul's wicket was one such example of Shaheen's excellent bowling, which needs to be seen by an emerging fast bowler. It was a pleasure for Pakistani cricket fans to see the speed with which the ball bounced off the stumps.
After losing 2 wickets in the third over, the Indian team could not come back and scored 151 runs in 20 overs. This is not a bad score in itself. But the Pakistani batsman did not give the Indian bowler a chance to take a wicket and won the match by 10 wickets over arch-rivals.
