England has beaten the West Indies for the first time in the T20 World Cup. England completed the usual target of 56 runs set by the West Indies by losing four wickets in 8.2 overs.
England opener Jose Butler remained unbeaten on 24 runs. Captain Ian Morgan remained unbeaten on seven runs.
Jason Roy (11), Johnny Bairstow (9), Moin Ali (3), and Liam Livingstone (1) were all out. West Indies' Akil Hossain took two wickets and Rabi Rampal took one.
Batting first after losing the toss in Dubai, West Indies could not stand in front of the English bowler and were all out for 55 runs in 14.2 overs.
