Remo D'Souza's date of birth is 2 April 1972. He was born in Bangalore in a middle-class family but he hails from Olavakode, Palakkad, Kerala. Remo's father Gopi was a cook in the Indian Air Force. His mother Madhavi Lakshmi is a housewife. Apart from these, Remo's family includes his elder brother Ganesh Gopi and 3 sisters.
Remo did his schooling at Airforce School in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He was a player in his school life and has also won prizes in 100 meters race. But when he was giving his twelfth exam, he realized that his attachment towards studies is less. His inclination was more towards dance, but his father wanted him to study and join the Indian Air Force and work for the country. Remo chose dance as his career against the wishes of his father and proceeded in this direction.

Remo D'Souza's real name was Ramesh Gopi, which he later changed. When Remo decided to make his future in dance, he left his studies in the middle and went to the city of dreams, Mumbai. Due to the financial condition of the family, he never took any dance training, but he always followed Michael Jackson and his dance style. He always used to watch Michael Jackson on TV for this, whatever he taught, he taught only through TV and video.
When she chose dance as her career, her financial condition was not good. At this time, he did not have money even for two meals. Once when he used to live as a paying guest with his friend, he did not have the rent money, so he left the house asking his friend to come back in a few days. And at this time he spent 2 nights at Bandra station without food. Soon he started a dance class called Super Brats, and then with the help of his other three friends, he opened two more branches. After this, he fought hard for 6 months in his life, in which his mother supported him. And after so much hard work, Remo has reached this point today. At present they have three institutes in Mumbai, Andheri, and Borivali.
Remo D'Souza Career :
Remo got recognition through the All India Dance Competition. In this dance competition, Remo and his team got first place and after this Ahmed Khan (who is a famous choreographer) noticed them and auditioned them. He was first given a chance by Ahmed Khan to choreograph the song for the movie Rangeela. After this, he worked as an assistant with Ahmed Khan for about 1 year.
Anubhav Sinha gave Remo a chance in Sonu Nigam's album Deewana and it was a hit album. Then Remo worked with Anubhav Sinha in many videos. Remo D'Souza got his first break in Bollywood with the film "Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar", but this movie could not get much success on the big screen. He was given the next break in Bollywood by Anubhav Sinha in the film "Tum Bin", but this film was also not a hit. Then the song "Ishq Samundar" from the film Kante proved to be the hit of his choreography career and then his career took a new direction from here.
After this success, Remo worked internationally and worked on several projects such as "Marigold" (2007), "Let's Go Mumbai City" with Adnan Sami, and Michael Jackson's sister. Till now he has choreographed songs in more than 150 films in Bollywood.
