Job Description
Partnerships Manager Job Responsibilities:
1. Partnership Projects and Grants
Writing proposals on behalf of Doko for projects in waste management and related fields.
Actively look and apply for national and international grant openings that align with our objectives and submit applications in coordination with the team.
Connect with relevant stakeholders in the development sector to establish partnerships based on mutual interests in the sustainability and environmental sector.
2. Business Development
Waste management and recycling-related services - Approach large-scale waste generators such as industries, and corporate clients for our services
Approach Municipalities and Wards for offering technical support in executing projects related to waste management in the valley and outside the valley.
Research and establish partnerships with relevant business entities based on the concept of ‘Extended Producers Responsibility
Approach companies for CSR collaborations in the fields of environment, waste management, recycling, and awareness workshops.
3. Project Implementation
Lead ongoing and upcoming partnership projects (grants and non-grants) on behalf of Doko Recyclers to execute projects as per the agreed timeline.
Organize internal team efforts to get relevant support in terms of knowledge transfer, brainstorming sessions for executions of different projects with results
Lead as the coordinator's role for communication for successful implementation of each project with the relevant stakeholders
Keep track of overall budget spending, plan the expenditures in detail, align with multiple vendors for the activities of the project, and keep track of invoices precisely to compile project reports. Track payments from and to relevant partners associated with every project.
Travel to work sites in the valley and outside the valley to oversee project progress, plan activities as per project goals, and engage with the local community and implementing partner.
Seek legal permission required for project implementation from relevant government agencies.
Prepare the project progress report to be submitted to relevant stakeholders and project donors.
4. Planning & Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual presentations to the BOD with focus areas and targets for the Partnerships department including an evaluation of previous performance.

Other Requirements/ Specification:
Has an interest to work in a social venture, and seeks growth in this sector.
Proven working experience as a manager/team lead in current or past roles.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline will be well regarded. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
Minimum of four years of experience in the relevant field.
Experience working with networks/membership organizations preferred.
