Gyanendra Malla - Nepali cricketer
Gyanendra Malla is a Nepali cricketer who has been a member of the Nepal national team since 2007. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler.
Malla was born on February 13, 1990 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He started playing cricket at a young age and was selected for the Nepal under-19 team in 2006. He made his senior team debut for Nepal in the 2007 ACC Trophy, and has since become a regular member of the team.
Malla has played a key role in Nepal's success in international cricket, including in the ICC World Cricket League Division Three in 2010, where he was the leading run-scorer for Nepal, and in the ICC World Cricket League Division Two in 2018, where he scored a century in the final against Namibia.
In addition to his international career, Malla also plays domestic cricket for the Lalitpur Patriots team in the Nepal Premier League. He has won several individual awards, including the Player of the Year award at the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum in 2013 and 2018.
Malla is considered one of the best cricketers to have emerged from Nepal, and is known for his aggressive and consistent batting. He has helped put Nepali cricket on the global map and is a valuable member of the national team.
