Causes and treatment of tinnitus

Sometimes ringing or ringing in ears is a problem experienced by many people. The ear cries in two ways, one is heard only by oneself and the other is heard by other people. There is a lot of ringing in the ears that is mostly heard by itself. It is called tinnitus in medical language.

This may have happened if the Eustachian tube, which connects the inner nose and ear, does not work properly.

Causes of ringing in the ears

Ringing in the ears can be caused by various reasons. In general, sitting for a long time with loud noises can cause ringing in the ears due to colds, fevers and fatigue during the flight. Apart from this, ear ringing occurs due to accumulation of waste in the ear, ear infection, problems in the inner part of the ear, torn eardrum, blocked or jammed ear, ear canal filled, ear bone problem, dry ear vein and tumor in the ear tube.

Similarly, mental stress, smoking and alcohol consumption can also cause tinnitus. If there is a problem from the outside of the earlobe to the inside of the ear, such as conductive hair loss, ringing in the ears can occur.

Having diabetes, anemia, heart disease, high blood pressure, and low thyroid levels in the blood can also cause ringing in the ears. Similarly, due to problems in many parts of the ear in old age, the ear can also ring. This problem affects the age group of 55 to 65 years.

In what condition to check?

There is no such thing as in other diseases. If the ringing in the ears problem does not affect the daily life of the patient, it can be cured by itself, but if it affects the daily life, the doctor should be seen. It can cause problems such as not concentrating on work, irritability, and inability to sleep.

Not only that, but if you experience ear pain along with ringing in the ears, discharge of fluid from the ear, reduced ear swelling or dizziness, you should see a doctor immediately. Because it can be a sign of any other serious disease.

Symptoms

A 't' sound is heard in the ear when the ear is ringing. Similarly, the ringing sound in the ears can be different from person to person. Such as whistling in the ear, the sound of water like the sighing of a river, the sound of an insect screaming, the sound of a broken radio may be heard. These sounds are light, heavy or continuous.

Treatment

So far, this drug and treatment process has not been prescribed to cure it. But it is treated with methods. For example, if the hearing is weak, hearing air buds, surgery, if the ear is torn, surgery, earphones, vitamins and supplements, if the cause is the medicine, if there is a behavioral mental problem, anxiety psychiatrist counseling, if you can't sleep, tinnitus masker which helps to reduce the ringing sound. In such a problem tinnitus therapy is done.

Prevention

Remove earwax, don't pick your ears, don't use oil, don't smoke, if you have persistent or long-term ear problems, you should get checked by a doctor.
