Pride of the womb: the untold sorrows of women
Pride of the womb: the untold sorrows of women
There are many women who are facing reproductive organ problems. However, they cannot express their pain openly. They live by hiding their troubles within themselves. Because we do not have the practice of openly discussing women's health, especially sex and reproduction.
Not only rural women, but also women in urban areas do not openly question such things, nor do they initiate treatment. Many try to hide the issue of sex and reproduction. That's why it is feared that this problem will become more complicated.
I have written a book to easily expose this pain of common women, the pride of pregnancy. Many people ask, 'Why did you write a book as a doctor?'
The reason I had to write this book was when I met a woman who was hiding a lot of pain in her career. They could neither speak their mind easily, nor seek treatment. They were brought to the hospital only when the disease was too severe and they fought for life and death. I dedicated this book to those women.
In this, I have raised the problem of reproductive health that women have to face on a daily basis. If it is only presented as information, it seems that the reader or the target group will not be interested in reading it. That's why I wrote the story in the beginning. This story is related to my life experience. Of course, whatever stories are here, I have closely observed the characters and events. Therefore, it is not written only in the form of fiction or fantasy.
Therefore, after reading these stories, the reader will know about their events or situations. At the same time, they know everything about why the condition occurs, how it occurs, to whom it occurs, and what is the treatment for it.
Most of the stories covered here have facts to know about reproductive health and precautions to be taken. We have named it creative non-narrative.
Its central theme is pregnancy. Pregnancy itself is a complex and sensitive situation. And most women have to go through this situation. The existence of 'womb' is not only the concern of a woman. It is not only her husband's or family's concern. This is a matter related to the responsibility of the society as a whole or the state itself. Because this situation is decisive to avoid the risk of maternal mortality or to give birth to a healthy child. A child's mental and physical health is directly and indirectly beneficial for everyone. Because sick or weak citizens increase the state's expenditure, while healthy or capable citizens increase the state's income. He becomes productive.
Therefore, there should be sufficient vigilance, vigilance and awareness about pregnancy.
A child is not only the child of one mother. He is someone's grandchild. Someone's nephews are nieces. Some have nephews and nieces. So this book is for all of them. It teaches how family members are involved and supportive in reproductive health and pregnancy management.
I have tried to explain this sensitive but important matter through stories. All these are not only real events, but also not just fiction. There is a combination of these two in the story. The problems that I have seen, experienced and suffered while in the medical profession are the subject of this.
In these stories, I have tried to depict the compulsions added by the society and the fact that those compulsions affect the mentality of women and why they do not obey even knowing their health.
I have discussed in this little book everything from menstruation to the pain of having to throw out the uterus. This book also tells the story of those women who have not reached the age of 40, what problems can arise when they try to have children in their married life and how their life changes. And by showing the importance of pregnancy for family happiness, it has been tried to show how the society helps in its management.
Nowadays, women are facing various fertility problems. Menstrual disturbances, infertility, complications of pregnancy, and limb loss are major problems. The effects of these problems on social life rather than health have been discussed.
It is not possible to improve reproductive health by being aware of women alone. Society should be aware. Everyone should be concerned about reproductive health. How and why? The answer to that is sought to be given through this book.
She is not the only reason why a woman is sick or troubled. Her husband also plays a role in this. Some sexually transmitted infections are experienced by women because of their husbands. Therefore, the husband's behavior, love and support have a deep impact on the wife's physical, mental and social life.
